Iowa stuns Michigan on last-second TD at the Big House

There's no place like the Big House for last-second drama in college football this season.

The sight of Michigan's controversial Week 1 Hail Mary victory over Western Michigan supplied an electric finish once again Saturday, this time with Iowa shocking the Wolverines on a touchdown catch by Reece Vander Zee on the final play of the game.

The touchdown capped an 11-play, 91-yard drive, as the Hawkeyes clinched their first victory at Michigan Stadium since 2010. As good as the winning score was, the play to set Iowa up with a chance might have been even better.

The Hawkeyes would have run out of time before the final play, however, a Michigan defender went down injured giving them a chance to set up.

The loss will sting a Michigan team that was the dominant side for virtually the entire game. The Wolverines outgained Iowa 429-285 in yardage but could not put the game away in the fourth quarter. Michigan's final two drives combined for only eight plays and 19 yards, taking just 3:27 off the clock.

That left enough time for Hank Brown to take Iowa down the field and deliver one of the biggest victories for the Hawkeyes in recent memory.
